Last Days of Christianity
Leaders to introduce heresies: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2pe 2:1) [Note that it doesn't say "might" or "probably", it says that there "will" be disastrous heresies among the people (within Christianity) (js)] see
False Prophets will appear: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect." (mat 24:24) [Again it says there WILL be False Prophets in Christianity (js)] see
Christians may loose steadfastness: Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know [these things] before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. ' (2pe 3:17) [Peter warns that the Christians are in Danger of loosing the true Way (js)] see
Anti-christs in 1st century: Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (1jo 2:18) [They were already there in the 1st Century Church, appeared to be Good Christians, but were not (js)] see
There Must be Heresies among you: For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it." (1co 11:18) see
Another Gospel preached: I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel." (gal 1:6) [Christians in Church trying to Distort the Gospel of Christ (js)] see
All in Asia Turned Away: This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes." (2ti 1:15) [So many Early Christians were following different gospels that all "fell away" from the true gospel as taught by Paul and Peter (js)] see
Exhorted all to say Same Thing: Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." (1co 1:10) -also- Avoid anyone teaching differently (2th 3:6) -also- Paul cautioned (Christians) to not Teach Myths (1ti 1:3-4) [Apparently these cautions were not heeded since now there are thousands of Christian denominations, all saying a different thing (js)] see
Do Churches hold Paul's teachings? Since Christians have accepted forms of Christianity that are different from what Paul taught (and Peter endorsed) are they now True Christians? Were their conversion in vain? see (1co 15:2) see
