In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. Psalm 72:7 (170:4) Baha'u'llah's purpose is to call into existence a new race of men, a new people composed of transformed individuals (170:5) They will be people who rise each dawn, center their thoughts on God, and gather to worship Him. They will - "occupied with His remembrance, and supplicating His forgiveness" - seat themselves, in silence, to hear the verses of God, chanted "in most melodious tones" , the verses that have been revealed throughout the ages in praise and remembrance of God. They will, "rid of all attachment to anyone save" God, in private moments of prayer, raise their hands in praise of Him, prostrate themselves before Him, "clinging" to His "cord" , imploring His mercy, standing ready to do His will and His desire, and loving only that which He loves
(170:6)
