The Blessed Beauty, Baha'u'llah, the Redeemer of all mankind, passed away on May 29, 1892, in the seventy fifth year of His life. His earthly remains are laid to rest in a beautiful spot, now surrounded by magnificent gardens, in the countryside not far from the Most Great prison. His arrival in Akka, 24 years previous, had signalized the long awaited advent of the Lord of Hosts in the Holy Land, the land of God's chosen and beloved people (174:3) Since His passing, His Faith has registered a procession of victories, establishing itself in all regions of the world, and now stands poised to burst out of obscurity into the mainstream of History
(174:4)
